Douglas ran track and field at the University of Buffalo and graduated with a BA in Political Science in 1974. Doug worked for Madison Square Garden Corporation for over a decade before he transitioned his career to financial services. In 1986, Doug became a registered representative with First Investors which, through a series of acquisitions, merged with Cetera Financial Group. He believes in treating his clients with respect and empathy and has been devoted to his clients’ success and wellbeing for nearly four decades.
Doug splits his time between his homes in Long Island and Staten Island and enjoys traveling to see his family in Georgia and California. Doug has been a member of the Hicksville’s Kiwanis Club since 1990 and is on the finance committee at his local church. He is a lifelong New York Rangers and New York Mets fan, and still loves watching track and field.
